That’s Grassington, the small market town that feels like a village and a perfect short break location from which to enjoy the Dales. The historic market town of Skipton approximately eight miles to the South provides an extensive range of shopping and recreational amenities.
Every year in April or May, the Yorkshire Dales town of Grassington is transformed into a film set for the popular TV series All Creatures Great & Small. Grassington stands in for Darrowby, the central village in ‘ACGAS’ and viewers will see The Square, The Devonshire Arms (The Drovers) and The Stripey Badger (Endelby’s Grocers) throughout the series.
